Cascina Roccalini's satin-textured, über-young Nebbiolos call to mind Jean Foillard's Morgon wines in Beaujolais, flipping preconceived notions of Barbaresco and its capabilities upside down. There's a plush immediacy in addition to the complexity and mid-palate grip still true to Piedmont's Nebbiolo.
