Textura is one of the many projects highlighting the possibilities within Portugal. While grape varieties like Encruzado, Arinto, and Gouveio don’t have the international recognition of Chardonnay, they deliver Burgundian-like wines full of character. There's a deep well of concentration in Pura, giving the impression of a wine worth waiting for, though it is singing right now.
