Textura is one of the many projects highlighting the possibilities within Portugal. While grape varieties like Encruzado, Arinto, and Gouveio don’t have the international recognition of Chardonnay, they deliver Burgundian-like wines full of character. In Pretexto, the floral and tea aromas, citrus, and orchard fruits all emerge underneath a modest veil of reduction.
