This estate was purchased by Anatole de la Brosse in 2018, and immediately Michel Chevré of Clos L'Ecotard and Nady Foucault formerly of Clos Rougeard were hired as consultants. This cuvee is made in a more serious style than most entry level Saumur Champignys, a departure from the simpler "bistro" Cabernet Francs that are often made in this region.
