2021 Quinta do Javali "Crazy" Douro Tinto
Crazy Javali Tinto comes from the grapes on the western plot of the “Clos Fonte do Santo,” the largest plot on the property with an average vine age of 20 years. This vineyard features a field blend of only native Portuguese indigenous grape varieties, all of which are farmed biodynamically. Th wine is made from hand-harvested grapes that are that then undergo spontaneous fermentation in both concrete and inox tanks, with some whole bunch fermentation.
