A blend of 90% Cabernet Franc (hand-destemmed) and 10% Chenin (whole bunch), co-fermented and macerated for 3 weeks with very light pressing to preserve the wine's silky character.

Pelo is a tribute to Olivier’s grandfather, Pierre, who was a fan of Saint-Emilion's Cabernet Franc and first introduced him to wine when he was a kid. This cuvée comes from a parcel of 60-year-old Cabernet Franc vines planted on schist soils, with heavier clay than the Chenin.
